Promo: How will Lindsay react to Jen’s possible pregnancy? (gag) There’s more to the story. Segment 1 Troy leaves his message about Lindsay’s head on a platter on the answering machine. Nora, Sam and Matthew come in. Matthew goes off to get hot chocolate and Sam tells Nora they need to talk about what happened last night. Shawna tells Cris that Al is writing an email to Jen. Al says, So what? Jen and I are friends. Shawna: Don’t sell yourself short. You and Jen are a lot more than friends. Cris demands that they drop the kiddie stuff and talk straight about what is going on. Al convinces Cris that Shawna is just trying to stir up trouble. Lindsay goes into her usual rant about Cris. I told you he was going to hurt you. Yada Yada. Finally, she figures out that it’s Al’s baby. Segment 2 Bo: We thought you were dead! Asa: That’s why nobody wrote! Gabs jumps on Asa for setting her up. Alex claims that she was just following her plan of investigation and she left clues for Bo. I assumed that’s why you are here. Hank tells her that although she was not involved in the original crime she was still an accessory after the fact because she didn’t alert the authorities. Asa: CRIME! What crime? When is it a crime to take a little vacation? Hank asks Asa to restate his claim that he was just on vacation. Max gets his back up and tells Asa that he set him up for murder. You left all the incriminating evidence; you shaded everything to make it appear that I was guilty. Max: Yet for all of your work they are not going to me to jail for murder but you to jail for fraud. Asa: Look who’s talking? Max goes on and on about how abused he was. It was all about my pretending to be your son and you hated yourself because you loved me too. You set me up for murder! I was more of a son to you that any of your other sons. You should have hung on to me. Bo gets insulted. Max continues: How far were you going to push this? Asa: Until you two were in hell and if I had to I’d have died too if it meant you two got what you deserved. Cris wonder whether there was more between Jen and he than what has come out. Lindsay comforts Jen. We are going to get through this together. Segment 3 Asa: You really think you weren’t going to pay for what you did to me? Stealing my money. Stealing my…. Stealing my wife. Max wonders if Asa used Gabs to get him caught in his web. Gabs flutters over and tells them to stop the discussion. Asa tells her to shut-up, “You backstabbing viper.” Alex learns her marriage is null and void. Bo asks Nigel to escort her to her room. She goes off to her room. Hank tells Nigel not to disappear. He has a few questions. Nigel ponders the price of loyalty and points out that there are worse crimes than loyalty. Isn’t anyone glad that Mr. Buchanan is alive? Max tells Hank the obvious: Asa is not dead so there was no murder. We are free to go. Hank: Until next time. What next time? I don’t know how or where, but there will be a next time. Max wraps his arms around Gabs and guides her toward the door. Max looks over at Bo and says: And, Bo, I think Gabrielle is right. Alex was in on this. Asa yells, “Alex wasn’t but Gabrielle sure as hell was.” Nora and Sam confirm their love for each other. Nora: Okay, where do we go from here? Troy is ordering French perfume for Lindsay with a note: Wear this next time I see you and I hope that is very soon. Troy has a fantasy about Lindsay thanking him for the perfume in a negligee. They dance and drink. He leads her to the bed. Troy leans over her and says: I really do like bad girls. Tell me, bad girl, what’s the baddest thing you’ve ever done. Lindsay: I gave Nora that drug that wiped out her memory. Jen tells Lindsay that Cris does not know. Lindsay tells Jen that she will stay with her as she checks things out. No matter how this turns out, honey, I’m with you every step of the way. Jen goes to take the test and Lindsay tells herself that Al is a decent boy who will do the right thing. She then tells Jen she shouldn’t tell Sam. Jen comes out of the bathroom. Lindsay: What did it say? Are you pregnant or not? Segment 4 Sam says that he doesn’t think he and Nora have to go anywhere. I think we’re already there. Nora agrees. This is where I’ve wanted to be for a long time. Nora indicates that she wants some stability in Matthew’s life and her life. Sam says she will have it. Sam goes on and on about the gift Nora gave him when she said she loved him. Sam tells Nora to check her Christmas stocking, while he and Matthew go off to do something. Nora does and finds a small red box. Nora grins. Jen tells Lindsay that it takes a few minutes to get the test results. Carlotta shows up at Cris’s. Lindsay tries to persuade her to leave but Carlotta stays. Cris wants to know why Al is leaving town if it’s not about Jen. Segment 5 Asa: When I first started to set you up, Gabs was not part of the package. Max: I know she wasn’t. She told me everything. Asa points out, however, how strange it was that he knew exactly where he and Gabs would be at the lodge. Isn’t it funny how I knew where you were exactly? She led you right to me. You were so hot to trot that you didn’t hear me knocking over the camera. I made enough noise to wake the dead. What did you expect, Max? She spent years in prison. She hated your guts. Did you ever wonder why I married her? Everyone said it wasn’t a love match and it wasn’t. Max rushes off with Gabs running behind him pleading that he not listen to Asa. Alex is heartbroken that the marriage was not valid. Nigel comes in and tells her that the plane is ready. Alex is going on and on about how it was not fair. I would have made him happier than we were in either of our other two marriages. Cris continues to push Al but the conversation just spins and spins. Jen thanks Carlotta for welcoming her to the family and for her support. I just wanted you to know that no matter what happens. Carlotta is curious about what the hell Jen is talking about. Lindsay is in the bathroom looking at Jen’s test results. Segment 6 Troy is lighting candles and fantasizing about how he is going to catch Lindsay. He checks his tape equipment. (He needs to check his mind.) Nora is disappointed that her gift is a silver whistle. Sam is curious why she is disappointed. Instead of shrugging it off, Nora drops to her knees and asks him to marry her. Nigel brings the maintenance man in and tells Alex that Asa left a gift for her. She is still married to Jeb Stuart, the maintenance man. Yep, I legally changed my name this morning. Nigel hands her two plane tickets. Alex rushes off with the new Jeb Stuart running behind her. Gabs catches up with Max and tries to explain what happened. Max is all huffy about how Gabs stabbed him in the back. Max: Asa says you hated me, is that true? Gabs: I didn’t hate you. I loathed and detested you. Max: Is this an argument in your favor? Gabs explains that she fell in love with him the moment she saw him again but Asa realized what was happening and forced her to stay in the agreement. Max tells her he loved her and Gabs says she loved him to and if Asa’s horrible plan brought them together then it was worth it. Max walks away: Goodbye. Bo lectures Asa on how many people he hurt. He talks about Renee and Jessica. Asa wants to know if he has anything to say to him. Bo: Yes, I do. You have the right to… Jen apologizes to Carlotta for Lindsay. Carlotta leaves. She runs into Cris outside of the apartment. What are you doing here? Jen goes to look for Lindsay who is still in the bathroom, obviously scheming.
